erase = expect respect & a safe education

erase is all about building safe and caring school communities . This includes empowering students, parents, educators and the community partners who support them to get help with challenges, report concerns to schools, and learn about complex issues facing students.

Many youth across B.C. are curious and anxious about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. To support parents, caregivers and educators in teaching young people about COVID-19, we've created a series of learning resources and activities.

To help kids learn about and understand the hazards in B.C., including disease outbreaks, consider starting with our free Master of Disaster youth education program: for disease outbreak content, see page 8 of the Get Ready Guide (PDF, 9.73 MB). You can then supplement this material with the resources below.

CR4YC focuses on social and emotional well-being to improve outcomes for young children. One of the CR4YC goals is to identify and apply a strengthened understanding of quality practices associated with improving the social and emotional well-being of young children. Another goal is to increase the coherence in pedagogy between Early Childhood Educators and Primary Educators.
